After breakfast, explore the desert surroundings and nearby communities before returning to Merzouga. Depending on your interests, the day can include time around the oasis, traditional villages, or simply relaxing and enjoying the desert atmosphere.

Later, return toward the dunes for another memorable desert experience. Enjoy the vast open landscape and the peaceful atmosphere before spending another night in the Merzouga area. This slower desert day makes the journey more comfortable and gives travelers more time to appreciate one of southern Morocco's most spectacular destinations.

After breakfast, leave Merzouga and begin the journey west toward Ouarzazate. Travel through the changing landscapes of southeastern Morocco, passing through desert plateaus and oasis regions before continuing toward the Draa Valley.

As you approach Ouarzazate, the scenery gradually changes from desert landscapes to rocky mountain terrain. Continue toward Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco's most recognizable historic sites. This UNESCO-listed ksar is made up of earthen buildings, narrow pathways, fortified homes, and impressive viewpoints overlooking the surrounding countryside.

Spend time exploring the old settlement and taking in its unique architecture before continuing to the nearby area for your overnight stay. Breaking the journey here creates a more comfortable route toward Marrakech and gives you time to properly experience one of southern Morocco's most important landmarks.

Your final day begins with a scenic journey from Ait Ben Haddou toward Marrakech. Travel through the dramatic landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains and cross the famous Tizi n'Tichka Pass, one of the highest paved mountain routes in Morocco.

Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of rugged peaks, deep valleys, and traditional mountain villages. There are several opportunities to stop and appreciate the scenery as the road gradually descends toward the plains surrounding Marrakech.

Continue toward the Red City and arrive in Marrakech later in the day.
